The Ranworth Christian Hotel was purchased in February 1987 by Colin and Daphne Marchant following the closure of the 'Y' Holiday Centre where Colin was Assistant Manager for nearly 7years, having felt very clearly the leading of the Lord in this matter.

The Hotel is situated about 200 yards from the promenade near to the pier, the main shopping area and the Royal Hippodrome Thearte.  The entrance to the Hotel is level and the dining room and lounges are on the ground floor.  There is a separate TV Lounge and the dining room doubles as a social area where on Sunday hymn singing etc is held and in the week activities such as carpet bowls, quizzes, concerts etc can be enjoyed.
